Mt Shuksan, Fisher Chimney's Route
Nizzy and I embarked on a little exam training and climbed the Fisher Chimneys in less than ideal visibility. It was an improbable looking line at the beginning, but the route unfolded bit by bit. We climbed the SE Ridge of the Summit, which was really nice, solid, rock.

SW Buttress of Cutthroat Peak, Washington Pass
After climbing 2 years ago together in Oregon, Hans and guide Pete Keane hooked up for a climb on the awesome granite of Washington Pass, on the east side of the Washington Cascades. They chose the SW Buttress of Cutthroat Peak. This climb has some classic alpine rock climbing up to about 5.8 in difficulty. One advantage of this area is its relatively dry climate compared to other areas in the Washington Cascades.
